Starting Your Holiday Early

I know it is hard to imagine it, but you can actually start your holiday early and this blog post will teach you how. So read on to find out more about some steps to starting your holiday a little earlier and to get the most out of your holiday overall.

Book a nice airport hotel

What I love to do is to book a nice hotel at the airport the night before a flight. Airport hotels always leave me feeling refreshed and I never feel rushed. This is great if you don’t want to leave the house super early, especially if you have an early morning flight. This is also great for Stansted airport hotels, because you may not necessarily live close by and this is the case with many airports around London.

Have a nice dinner

After you have checked into your hotel you can either stay in and enjoy the hotel’s restaurant or venture out and find yourself a nice place to eat dinner. This is always great because it is always nice to explore the local area and find yourself a great restaurant. I love going to visit some small towns and eat local food that you might not have otherwise known about.

Get a spa treatment

One thing that I love about hotels is that you can always enjoy a little bit of a hotel spa to kick off your holiday. This takes away all the stress and leaves you feeling refreshed and feeling as if you were already on holiday.

Have a great breakfast

A great breakfast is something that not many people get to experience when it comes to taking an early morning flight and the best part of staying at a hotel is that you can get some great quality food. I love it because then I am properly fueled and energised for the day ahead, rather than heading to the airport unsatisfied by the small breakfast I got to eat.

Go to the airport

After everything is done and you have checked out, you can leisurely wander over to the airport, which is right at your doorstep. No more rushing to be there hours before and you will feel ready to go for your holiday. I love this because you don’t need time to recover when you reach your destination, you simply get going because you are so refreshed.
